About Sunkissed Fiber Festival

The first annual Sunkissed Fiber Festival is the brainchild of Laura Regan, owner/indie dyer of Created 4 U By Laura.  Laura and her husband Kevin enjoy the spring and fall festival season up North, but as snowbirds thought January would be a perfect month to try a fiber festival in Florida!

After looking at a couple of locations they settled on hosting the first annual Sunkissed Fiber Festival at the Hillsborough County Fair Grounds just outside Tampa.  The Fairgrounds offers a great indoor facility which we will be utilizing for our inaugural event.

Laura loves finding ways to bring the fiber community together and is hopeful that this event will offer a great experience for fiber businesses and fiber loving attendees.

As we mentioned the festival is taking place at the Hillsborough Country Fairgrounds in Dover, Florida (about 25 minutes from Tampa) on January 24-25, 2026. Saturday, January 24 the hours are 10am-4pm and on Sunday the hours are 10am-3pm.

There is an admission fee of $5 per day or $7 for the weekend.  At this time we will only be selling tickets onsite and it will be CASH ONLY at the door.

We are working on securing food trucks - stay tuned as we get more information on this.
